We simply need stronger leadership in Olympia. We need legislators with the courage to end tax breaks that aren’t creating jobs. These dollars need to be reinvested in successful economic development projects or our public schools. We need legislators with the knowledge and desire to dedicate themselves to making our communities better. As the only active educator in the legislature, Karin will bring first-hand classroom experience to discussions about all levels of education. She will ensure that the next generation will be competitive in the global economy and that they will be able to obtain family wage jobs.
Karin understands the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families and wants to guarantee that those who served FOR us get the service from us they deserve. This race is about prioritizing the most important government services, but it is also about electing leaders who value collaboration, civility, and planning for the future: Leaders who think for themselves and are responsive to their constituents; not legislators who look to out-of-state think tanks for advice and special interest legislation.
